Faceless Friday: Part 95

I suppose one thing we can count on is that the days of the week will keep ticking by, which means that it is once again Friday, and time for Faceless Friday.  On Fridays (and sometimes Thursdays if I feel the rebel call) I like to list out the things that ROCKED MY FACE OFF the past week.  So without further ado here is this week’s Faceless Friday:

The Beasts.  They keep life… um… interesting.  I was going to say they keep life entertaining, but I have to be honest sometimes they just lay around looking cute and I can see that on the internet if I wanted.  So, yes, interesting.  Josie pup is now 6 months old and likes to shove her toys under things (on purpose mind you) and then whine for help… so I am typically crawling around on the floor a minimum of 20 times a day… actually that may be a ridiculously low estimate.  Nico Man dog of course continues to give zero fucks about anything… so that in itself is rather entertaining.  As much as they drive me batty with the whole “Take me back outside because I have been indoors for 30 seconds” charades, they have my heart and I am beyond grateful and blessed to be their pet parent, and sometimes pack leader.

They are a SUPER team... of driving me insane.

A good doctor’s appointment.  It has been a long while since I heard some decent news at the doctors, so when I was told last Friday that there may be some medicine to control all of my pain (other than pain killers) I was elated.  I’m not sure if it will work, or what will happen in the future, but finally having some hope ROCKS my face OFF.

The Fixer. The Fixer has been very encouraging and understanding while we try to figure out what is plaguing my body, and that rocks my face off.  He also seemed to like the small re-decorating of the kitchen/sewing area the other day… I mean I did hang a shelf and move around things, and for a Virgo to take that in stride is a pretty big deal. The Fixer has also embraced my little sewing projects, has encouraged them, and even feigns interest when I show him all of the things I have been working on, and then go into a rambling spiel about all of the things that I want to make. Having someone that encourages my creativity and happiness rocks my face off.

I suppose The Fixer is pretty loved...

It is kinda cute, and mostly functional.

Being creative and making things.  I have been making denim aprons and have had a blast working on something, even when I feel like crap-o-la.  They are not perfect by any means, but they are made with love and a lot of swear words. They have character and being able to create things and be proud of said things rocks my face off.

Yeah, I made those...
Yeah, I made those…

Okay, I have real life girl stuff to do so I better get my act together…. So let’s jump to the short list:

Coffee (forever and always), hazelnut creamer, food in the kitchen, knowing how to use small power tools, tennis balls for the pup, Diet Coke, a car that is running thanks to The Fixer, a humidifier, getting a massage at physical therapy last Friday instead of poked and prodded more, my friend KT having healthy twins on their way, my family, John Butler Trio’s new cd (yes again this week because it is THAT good), the Shark vacuum, new candles, long baths, new shampoo and conditioner, my meds finally adjusting in my system, friendships, and YOU dear Craughers for EVERYTHING. Thank you, sincerely and completely, thank you for being here, for reading and for encouraging me so damn much.
